Every tourist has to indulge in the obligatory activity that is the tour bus ride. It's easy, covers a lot of ground and is very informative (like somebody googling something and spoon-feeding it to you). All in a relatively short amount of time.

I can't help but compare it to a big cage rolling around, teasing the animals inside it with sights, sounds and smells of people they never met, memories they never made and the life they would never have.
